Thanks for thinking of me. I didn't think I'd be missed. Currently renovating our house and keping very busy with that. Doing all the work ourselves. No contractors at all. Very slow going but enjoying it. Say hi to the "old" gang for me.

BOO!! 
Congratulations for the DOD award Petal. I like this one. Diagonals on the diagonal. Great lines, textures and patterns and fun splashes of red in the poles. Nice work. So happy to see you on the front page one more time before I leave....and this time not for Flappy Mouth. LOL Leaving tomorrow so I'll keep in touch via the occasional travel update email.

A gorgeous image. Stunning colours. I never even thought about it but with all those volcanoes over there you're bound to have some awesome sunsets such as this one. Lucky you! Beautiful!

Sorry to hear you are sick. Lots of illnesses going around here too.
I was going to suggest this would make a wonderful wrapping paper but then I read it's already a bag so I guess similar has already been done. Love the colours and shapes against the black. Makes for a beautiful photo.
I'll be away for a few months as I'm going to be traveling again in a few days. Will catch up again when I return.

Stunning scene Marc. Gorgeous movement in the clouds and water and lovely soft colours. The rocks anchor it nicely in the forgeround. Beautiful.

Sorry I missed this one Ina but I found it on the front page today so better late than never. I see you get the Miss Flappy Lips award today....well perhaps 15 minutes of fame as they do change fast but for however long it is I'm glad I didn't miss it cause this is an ingenious idea. Very creative of you Ina. Looks more than A-OK to me cause my imagination can stretch quite bit as you know. LOL I love all the diagonals and wonderful colour and textures here. Great work. A fantastic abstract.

Yes Jeanette...I found this image on the front page in the featured critique section. Our images often pop up there in between change overs of images. Sometimes they are only there for a few minutes but when I see someone I know on the front page even if for short time I try to let them know that's where I saw the image. Sorry you missed that 5 minutes of fame but don't worry.....it didn't go to waste cause I saw it.

I'm with Rina here Kathy. I don't think I'd like to drive over that bridge. A beautiful image very well put together. All your images are so nicely "polished". This one has postcard written all over it. You and Susie should turn some of your images into postcards and greeting cards and sell them in your cafe. You have the perfect venue to try it out as a sideline and you certainly have the talent to pull it off. This is so very marketable. Great work.

A very impressive macro Jim. They look like skyscrapers reaching for the sky. Quite surreal looking. Beautiful lighting and wonderful composition. This must have been a belly shot to get this perspective. Fantastic image.

Ha ha Gayle.....that's WPP (WEBSITE Protection Program) or in closed circles WRP (Website Relocation Program)...but you didn't hear that from me. LOL
Love the pic....all the farewell balloons are great. Sure hope that was a closed canopy or we're going to be getting very wet. Then we'd have to get into the WetSite Protection Program. LOL Sorry about the hard corn. (haha)

It's like looking through a tunnel to the sky. A beautiful softly coloured sky with lovely pink hues reflecting off both buildings. It's almost like the building on the left is completely see through rather than reflecting the sky as the clouds seem to continue in shape and form. A beautiful image Jeanette with wonderful lines and perspective. Congratulations on the front page FC. Great work.

I tell you Peter if it was legal the spousal unit would travel this way taking all his toys with him (*grunts like Tim the Toolman*) but seeing as we can't we just take the motorhome with the blue jeep in tow and store the rest until we can get them all in one place again. LOL

Gorgeous Peter. I love the slow shutter effect on the white water in the foreground and the soft pinks in the sky are beautiful. really nice composition with the rocks where they are. Great shot.

A powerful image Chuck with a very strong composition. I have no idea what all that writing says but I hope for the soldier's sake that green writing doesn't say "No Sleeping Here" 
I love the blank centre wall with all the interest around it. Superb image and well deserving of the Photo Of The Day Award. Congratulations for the front page feature POD Chuck. A superb shot. Very impressive.

This earlier shot is even more spectacular than the latter which I posted a comment on previously. Sometimes I just do things in reverse (haha) The colours in his one are striking. Again the diagonal composition gives a strong difference and bold mood which is quite painterly like. I love the textures in the sky. Beautiful shot.

I love these trees. They are the signature tree of Africa. Can't be mistaken for anywhere else. This is excellent on the open plain like this with the nice clouds in there for added interest. Lovely details. Great shot Mireille.

Your Melbourne by night shots are all top shelf Jason. The lights and composition of this one is excellent. Superb quality and razor sharp image. Gorgeous colours and I love the rich deep blue sky. Beautiful night shot.
