Fabulous shot of this well documented tree. I have seen this variety of tree in many African nature programmes; I think the span of it's branches is amazing as it seeks to protect it's roots and offers so much protection for lots of creatures.
The whole landscape scene is beautiful my dear Mireille. Wonderful details and such a gorgeous sky. Well done you.

I love these trees. They are the signature tree of Africa. Can't be mistaken for anywhere else. This is excellent on the open plain like this with the nice clouds in there for added interest. Lovely details. Great shot Mireille.

Very nice one Mireille. I love the colors and also the horizontal spread of the tree. By placing the bottom of the tree just above the flat horizon in the shot, I think you have brought out the unusual and interesting horizontal aspect of this tree.
An interesting alternative shot might be to compose a shot with this tree slightly more to the right or left of a longer shot, that features the horizon even more and therefore highlights the tree also, but really this shot is also superb just as it is. Nice work!
