About I needed to burn the last few pictures on my roll of film so I headed out into the garden. These flowers are about 2cm wide so I used my +4 macro filter on my telephoto lens to get in close. I've noticed that when using the macro filters with the tele if I zoom in close enough I get a soft halo around the subject and I thought it would add a neat element.
Comments appreciated!

You've got an interesting effect on this one, Kim
The soft halo from your macro filter/tele, has really made these tiny petals, special. I doubt you'd get this with a digital camera - without lots of PS fiddling.

Beautiful colouring and variable softness. A dreamy image.

Absolutely beautiful, Kim! The colors are just amazing and, together with the halo around them, make the flowers look like they're glowing from within!

I like the soft halo effect provided. It adds a nice atmosphere to the photo. Nicely envisioned and executed.
