Stefan, Something about this shot doesn't sit right with me either... I wish I could put a finger on it so I can try to improve next time... any suggestions? I think maybe it's a bit busy with all the deadfall... if you can think of anything, please let me know. Cheers Kim
I am a sucker for slow shots of moving water... I see the logic of the composition here, but in the end it becomes a little too unruly to really settle peacefully in my mind.
Lovely, gentle shot - I never tire of the effect a slow shutter has on moving water! The only thing I think detracts somewhat from the soft, lush feeling is that the ferns and background foliage ended up with some rather harsh highlights (reflections off the moisture on them, I guess?) from the long exposure. A beautiful shot, nonetheless!
