Of all your recent photos I like this one best, because by processing it you created the appearance of night but kept the menacing spakle in the spider's eye. Thank you for your very detailed and generous commet on my "In Monet's garden 3." Best regards, Rafi

Cheers for the comment Sal, I don't think it's eye is dented I think it is just an optical illusion bought about by the flash. If anyone knows different I'd love to know.
Thanks

Wonderful Photograph James, Great Colors and Clarity. Very well presented. I can not seem to catch a butterfly shot. I think I've only gotten 3. I had a chance to get a dragon fly that had 4 rectangles for wings, but my image was blurred and he flew away befor I could get a second shot..
Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the wonderful comment on my Photo... Peter Daniel

Amazingly well spotted Peter and thanks for the additional information. I have attached a 100% of the area, it clearly shows the larvae.
Thanks

Well captured James!! You have captured 2 insects at once.....the fly and a fly parasite. Look just behind the fly head on the body and you can see a brownish larve. Well done again!

Hi James,
This is not a cliché for me as I haven't seen this approach before. Quite thought provoking! I have something similar with a £20 note in mind, but I don't pretend to understand how you did this, so perhaps you should have a go!!
The more I look at this, the more I think of umbrellas & bowler hats, so perhaps subconsciously I HAVE seen this sort of thing before? Very interesting all the same!
Regards Steve.
