Cracking macro work David, especially considering the equipment used. I've seen people produce alot worse using dedicated macro equipment! I really like the abundance of green and also they way the bug seems to be looking at me.

Thanks

Beautiful softness of colour and texture. The shallow depth-of-field isolates the bloom and your simple framing finishes it all off wonderfully.

Thanks.

Sublime use of colour, pattern and shape Sal. The green is luminous and grabbed my attention immediately, what is the green?

I love the dark colour the metal has taken on, you did well not to get more harsh highlights.

Thanks

Excellent use of moody tones Hanggan. Is the hidden shape the "dragon's head" which appears to be looking at us, made up of the foliage in the background.

Nice shot, thanks.

Superb natural moment, well spotted and well taken. The bee certainly didn't stand a chance against the menacing looking insect. Great control of depth of field considering the use of the close-up lens.

Thanks.

Wow, great sense of speed and motion in this one Sal, I also think it has a great level of contrast and tonal range, good conversion to mono and tip top composition.

Thanks

I have never seen so many butterflies in one place, it looks an amazing sight, such colours and detail. Excellently spotted Roberto.

No way is that a square! Wonderful perspective and dizzy enducing height all added to by the interesting abstract reflection. Nice shot Sal.

Excellent use of shape and colour to produce this simple yet appealing image. I love the contrast between the yellow and blue and also the position of the lamp and shadow.

Thanks.

Cheers for the comment Sal, I don't think it's eye is dented I think it is just an optical illusion bought about by the flash. If anyone knows different I'd love to know.

Thanks

Excellently composed floral. The yellow against the black makes such a statement to the eyes it is hard not to notice and appreciate it. Great work.

Lovely floral and insect shot you have captured here. The flower on it's own would have made an attractive floral but the added interest of the honey bee, turns it into something more special. You have managed to get an excellent level of detail.

Nicely seen and well executed unusual self portrait. I see you have had your hair cut! I like how the grass provides a frame of green around you.

Great use of the selective desaturation. I love how the dark moody sky contrast against the vibrant yellow in the foreground. I cannot work out what the building is but it provides a good lead-in line and also a useful line of colour to break up the sky from the yellow.

Beautiful colours and shooting angle in this floral Rafi. I love the way the light has given the petals a translucent quality and also picked out their delicate texture.

It's hard to bore of stunning close ups like this Sal! Stunning colours and I like the suggested triangle created by it's wings and tail.

Keep 'em coming.

Excellent composition once again and a beautiful use of some very saturated colours. You seem to have the ability to make the most normal of scences into great photographs.

What a stunning image Roberto, excellent composition and colours. I like how in this angle the spikes on the wire are pointing in the same direction as the insects wings.

Thanks.

A sad end for such a majestic insect Sal but for every sadness there is a good point.

The good point is the water has made a great backdrop for a very unusual but appealing insect shot.

Thanks.

Another stunning marco Roberto, the wire gives us a sense of scale. People sometimes do not realise how hard it is to get anywhere near to these insects to get an image like this.

I do love the colours you seem to get in Brazil, nice one.

Excellent effect you have achieved with your editing, it almost looks to me like an x-ray image.

It is very simple image but very interesting and has a magical feel to it with the glowing green hues.

I like this one more than the other. The main reason is the great pose the frog is pulling for you, like he/she is peeking under something. I like the red and green too, they are a stunning contrast.

Thanks.

You certainly goy up early to capture this floral Peter. The colours are just fantastic, so rich and vivid. I like the composition too, how it's little brother is peeking through to get in the shot.

Thanks.

Great macro, well composed and the blur in the background has created a dreamy effect that makes the insect stand out well.

That is certainly a beautiful cat, I really like the choice of a low shooting angle. It is an usual angle, not often seen but works well.

The depth of field is very shallow but the softness matches the fur.

Thanks.

Beautifully simple floral and the way that orange stands out against the black is stunning, you would never guess this was taken against a fence. Great job.

Now this is my favourite era of flight, the WWII planes have some magnificent shapes and some cracking paint schemes. You have captured the mottled effect well here and it's also a good example of the spiral.

Thanks.

They certainly do seem to always fly away just while you are composing that great shot. You have done well here and even though the butterfly is only smal in the frame the composition makes it work. I love the patterns the grass is making.

Thanks.

The perspective makes me feel dizzy Sal, this was a great spot. I can't even work out what is up and what is down, the mark of a good abstract!

Terrifying image but well captured, I hope you didn't have to get too close to them. Filling the frame with them has increased it's impact and also made the most of their amazing colours.

Thanks
