Thanks for the comment, Matt. I was hand-holding a strobe above my head to the left, just trying out some different lighting.
It's not a matter of no inspiration for me not posting, it's just a matter of getting out and shooting some pictures. I just haven't found anthing that great to go shoot lately. I expect springtime will cure that!

This is a good shot. Did the strobe isolate it like that, or did you do some work in p/s ?

Beautiful floral Mark, the colours and detail are perfectly illuminated with the strobe flash.

Thanks, Larry. I really like the Tamron. I needed a reasonably priced lens that had some reach to it. It seems to fit the bill rather well for the money. I use it as my primary lens. I shoot a lot of sports and some cityscape type things and it works very well for those things. If you look at my recent fireworks shots from New Years' Eve, I was nearly 4 miles away from the subject.
