Jorge,
The tilt comes from the unbalanced ceiling molding - there is a wider angle on the left than on the right and so it pulls the whole image toward the left. And imo ovals always feel a bit off-balance and since you've got several in the photo - the pull on the lines...
You want life to be beautiful in the worst kind of way yet you betray an anger - did you know that...
I am sure you will recognize the following:
Dylan Thomas? ?Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night?
Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

there is a tilt to this - as if it all were going to slide out the left hand side of the frame it gives skew too what would otherwise be seen as a very generic image...
ouch - nice conversation - you gave me what was probably needed - a nice hard whack on the hand - yes you are right - I am sharing too much...
two reasons perhaps - first to be listened to even if in flattering terms is great - it has my creative juices pumping in all four chambers and I find it spilling out all over the place...
second, I tend to let my life get unbalanced when something feeds me as this does and so I become a little obsessive - my other hobby is under control and now I need to find control here
discipline can't hurt the muse and might even refine it a bit...

Comovente e aconchegante!

WOW! Great wall! My home's wall are simple... empty... :-( Great home Jorge. About the photo now, the most of cameras have a secontary - softer flash. Try it. I say that because at the right white courtines (fabric)... (again sorry for my bad english) the flash is shining very strongly. Best regards!

Wow, nice family room! I love the beautiful display of artwork and the almost victorian feel to the room. If this were my house I would definitely be too afraid of doing anything in this room for fear of breaking something. The drapes seem a bit blown out, but I'm sure this wasn't an easy one to get the lighting perfect.
