Ca' estou aqui a ver mais uma das suas bem definidas cenas, na qual apresenta os tais "high and low light,s" muitissimos bem separados numa rua da bonita cidade de Braga.

There is always a problem when someone who creates also inteprets. You are right - your photo has many interpretations so we see it differently. As long as we both understand - no harm (I hope).
Re: my direction - I think getting a cheap digital camera (so that there are no risks involved and no measurable value input) - has helped free my work tremendously. I love it - to create without strings is freedom.

I took special care in this picture,since this street is part, maybe , the best part of my life.I was born in this street , the second house , in the right side, belongs to my family, since the 17th century.Hundreds of people, with my ADN , were born and died in that house , in that street.The first register of the house, from that 17th century , says that ,the owner, had to give a dozen of fat chikens ,each year , to the capitulary of the Braga?s Cathedral,the very old Sé of Braga.This was still is my own town, Braga,Minho,Portugal.
