I would prefer to answer someone with work to show, to have an idea about who you are.
Amatheur, in my understanding is one that do things by the half or don?t care too much with the thing he has at hand.Under that concept I am not amatheur.Before conclude a picture, be sure, I look at and everything is there because I want to be there.The window in a airplane , you should know, is common sense, is bad for pictures.Instead of recognizing I avoid most of that effect, it is , only , in the left corner, you sugest to crop.I don?t like to crop.To crop is recognize a mistake at the clic momment.The engine is there because I think and to me is a fact, it helps to give perspective and size to the picture.To crop the engine is the worst possible sugestion you could give me.
Now, please, do not start with that used song, I felt offended with a critic, I do not like to receive helpful critics.Not that.I recognize a critic if that critic is worth the time I take to read it.I am not at all offended, there are no reason for that, only I must have the right to reply.

Fantastic shot, but the engine is kind of annoying. And the window's reflection on the bottom right. Cropping out the left side of the photo would get rid of some of the odd obscurity, and a little of the beauty, but I think, over all, it would be a better picture.

Muito boa imagem aérea! Gosto muito também dos angulos antes do pouso!
( Uso apenas PS, pois com ele pode-se fazer tudo em matéria de imagens. Na sua, somente usei "curves", um pouco de saturação e dessaturei o barco por dentro. Coloquei a água mais para o verde para ficar diferente, mas o seu azul compõe mais a imagem)

BRAVO Jorge! Well... The quality is perfect at the top of the image so good that I believe you crash the glass ... the only thing the poof the glass is the reflect at the bottom left. Stunning view of the ice. Beautiful! Again a big bravo, I like it a lot!

You had me fooled quite well with the boat and shadow part. I took a second look and still it seemed quite natural. A job job well done.
Never took a picture from a plane yet, but perhaps i should. You where lucky on that position in the plane. doesn't really give you much flexibility composition wise, but it does create a story.
