Thanks Jim. This was the first image in this series. Some people felt the sunrays were distracting...that is why I uploaded the second one with only water splashes. I, personally liked the sunray reflections. Oh well....can't please them all.

Thanks my sweet friend. The streaks are reflections of the nearby sunset. I personally liked them, that is why I chose this image. I did use a slow shutter to capture the breaking waves on the rocks. Thanks Steve. I am pleased you like it. The lines on the right hand side are reflections from the setting sun just out of view. I liked them as I felt they added another dimension to the photo. I have only actually added a white bottom border to accomodate the text.

Great colours (as always) and excellent composition and contrasts. Really like the swirling motion of the waves. Great movement - can almost feel the waves crashing into the rocks.
The vertical/diagonal streaks lower right are a little distracting - difficult to put their cause into the context of the scene.
Other than that, I think the lack of frame really works well here - a nice simple white border.
