Excellent view! Yes, I prefer the lamp in (or out completely).
Sometimes one person (looking down for example) on the top floor can give a new life and depth to this type of the photos.

This is my pick of this series. I agree you could have improved it by including the lamp... I alos tthink a little more sharpness in the foreground and perhaps a little less in the background would add to the sense of scale. Excellent shot!

I like the whole collection of "my daily way". The toning and perspective are spot on as is the coloring. Wouldn't worry too much about the odd lamp here or there.
Cheers for your comment but I have to go now and lay down...feeling a little giddy.
Cheers

Hi Verena, very nice perspective, created by the element of depth in the staircase. As to my critisism, I can only agree with the lamp, and I'm not so fond of the tone you used; it seems a bit icky / dirty. I'd tweak down the yellow level a bit, an probably increase the red. As you know, that's subjective...;)
Cheers,
Hugo

lg, uwe

Hi Verena! This way just HAS to make you dizzy :) About the lamp ... it?s not the first thing catching one?s attention, but I?d vote for IN, as it has a "friend" at the lower floor. Very nice angle and tones! *hugs*

You could include the lamp too, but it?s a detail, if I was not reading your about, I was not noticing it, instead I was attracted by the elegance of the spiral and by its strength too and by the beautiful geometry, the toning is not the best for my taste, too yellow and cold, but the atmosphere of the place is great, magic? my mother has a little house of the XVII century and I know the feeling. Hugs, Max

I am falling forwards or backwards I don't know (those lamps do my head in). Poor Verena, how often do you lose your way on your daily way. Just send them this photo if you want a day off.

hi verena,
als perspektiven-fan finde ich das bild nun wirklich klasse. okay, die lampe hätte man weg- oder komplett drin lassen können, aber die verschachtelte geometrie rockt einfach das haus. einfach genial, respekt.
LG, Thilo

Wow.. did you made some climbing to capture it? ;) This is a nice image of this serie (perhaps the better.. no the first one was nice too) Verena. Excellent perspective and very goods tones. Just one question, why did you post it in square image as you image is rectangular? Perhaps better in above my head, no? This is my MHO
Cheers Verena Fabrice
