interesting comp, verena. not too easy to perceive the actual motif, though. lots of details to watch. somehow my eyes lure for a vertical line to get some solid basis. well done b/w. cheers, thilo

lg, uwe

Hi Hugo,
here I more like the subtle range of tones, I wanted it more soft and the result is exactly what I expected :)
BTW, the highest point is in front and also my neck was hurting a bit after taking this shot!
As I'm on my way from shot to shot I try to improve my style but it doesn't works every time!
Thanks for you almost open and elaborated criticism.
Cheers, Verena

Hi Verena! Been visiting your neighbours? Good to see you're back....)
Very interesting image. Creative, and very original. The tonal range is very suble, but well balanced. I know it sounds weird coming from me, and it's not something you can get a conclusive answer to, but I do think this one (again) would be very nice in a harder key too.... The tilt starts to hurt my neck as I try to figure which side is up....;o) Although I like the diagonal composition, I think it's a tad extreme, and the familiar tension and dynamism of your work is also a bit less strong... Don't get me wrong, here, I do like this shot, and find it very intriguing.
Cheers,
Hugo

This is a very interesting shot. It is hard to tell which way is up, which I like. I am always interesting in odd perspectives. Nicely done
