Danny, I have been there around one and a half years ago for a wedding outside of Newcastle. The city is such an amazing place, for mixture of old and new architecture, a lot of museums, great place for photography...what is the Sage Building? Is the music hall already finished?
This shot was taken when it was still a construction side.

Are you living there?
Cheers, Verena

Splendid subject, I like this great curve in the sky, the image is almost perfecty composed, only I find that it?s a bit disturbing that the lines are not horizontal, not a serious fault, but without this it would have been a perfect photo. Bye Max

Ahhh. One of Norman Foster?s greatest masterpieces. You?ve done a great job Capturing his immaculate style of clean lines. And also one more great work from Verena. I?ll be picky hoping you wont be offended?the horizontal lines formed by the tension cables are not perfectly horizontal; they are sloped down to the right by a few degrees which it could be fixed by cropping at a slight angle.

Hi Verena, I recognised this bridge as soon as I saw it even though it's an unusual angle. I've never seen a photo taken from underneath and it's quite rare the bridge is actually open. I live about 15 miles North of the bridge but never actually been to take any photographs of it yet - maybe this year! Very effective in B&W.
