I agree with everything you said in your comment, especially about needing to fix up the background. I think I uploaded the wrong photo, actually, but you're definitely right about the darkness in the bottom right needing to be erased.
I checked out your portfolio and you have some really wonderful images. I especially like your use of bright red against white (the tomatoes, the tulips, etc.)
Excellent results, I love the high key image you have produced.
However, maybe you can be a bit more subtle with the brightness, applying it more to the background than to the metal itself, to avoid losing the edges. Also, the background itself needs a bit of cleanup (airbrushing, they used to call it in the days of film :) in the bottom right corner.
I have some recent images in my portfolio that have a fairly similar approach to different subjects.
