About One-street town.

The sun rises over a small town in the Brazilian hinterland.

I liked the line of the road, the pattern of lampposts and the sunrise sky.

I hope this photo can give you a feel for the place.

For the PS-minded: a couple of blended layers with gradient overlays to balance sky and foreground.

> Are you an early morning person?

I turned into one. My desk job shift starts at 7am so my body usually wants me to "wake up" early, even without an alarm. Plus it's 2-4 hours earlier than the UK in Eastern Brasil, depending on the season and the different daylight savings schemes in operation...

Therefore I'd get up around 5:30, 6:00 and instead of disturbing the family, I'd sneak out with my camera for a nice pre-breakfast shoot ;)

http://www.usefilm.com/image/768667.html was taken at twilight.

Yeah, you captured it well - a one horse town. Very nice work. Are you an early morning person or was it just the time change from the UK? (I see you do a lot of sunrise work. I'm more of a sunset person. Takes FOREVER to get my engine going) Take Care, Mark

The warmth, smell, warm breeze, colours, landscape - soon the darkness will cover everything! Nice work Angelo!

Nice light. good pic. It's the early bird that catches etc. Straighten the left hand foreground pole.

I agree with you Angelo .. the curved road line together with the electricity posts line catches our eyes and makes us follow them to the end of the photo to the horizon with the beautiful sunset colors...
Good work my friend,
Khaled.

Hi Angelo,

love that stuff. deserted, somehow unknown at least to my eyes, very moody. the poles work fine as separators and lead the eye to the horizon. the only little thing my pedantic eye would work on is the left pole which tends to be shifted a tad.

anyway, good stuff!

best wishes,

Thilo
