I would have prefered a brighter sky as well but that was storm coming in. Especially since within 30 minutes of this photo the storm had moved in and created "Whiteout" conditions so that you could not see more than 20ft in front of you. The storm dumped 3ft of snow before it was done.

Spectacular lighting situation, good use of wide angle perspective. To emphasise the sunlight on the beach, I would like a bit more punch there, I tried a softlight blended layer mask for the foreground
