jennifer what a splendid fotograph. sure it's a little soft but for me that works in this foto. reminds me of LF work from the early 1900's. what a moment with the little boy's eyes. please do not take offense to this but this foto also reminds me of Walker Evans. are you familiar with the work he did on the FSA project? these fotos were so simple, straight forward yet beautiful and engaging.... such is this foto of yours.

thanks, Carsten. I really appreciate getting that kind of detail in feedback. My eyesite's not what it used to be & i almost never wear my glasses so i'm sort of used to looking at things in a softer focus than most! It's a great reminder to me to sharpen things up again after working on them. - jennifer

Great street shot. Good idea the choice of camera position at the boy`s eye level. Maybe a bit sharpening after resize would not hurt
