Rebecca , all your photos are so peacful and serene. I crave healing from the two heart attacks I have had ( and strength) and a peace that is seen in your photos. Good work.

Richard, I'm inclined to believe a very young male. The females aren't usually this color either. They're more brown.

Nice shot Rebecca, quite a departure from some of your more sombre stuff. The Cardinals outside my old home were much redder than this one. Is it a female do you think???

I like both shots but I will chose this one because it is holding a seed. Both are very sharp and well done. Del.

How clever of you re the tree limbs. And I can imagine what you looked like potting the limbs...very funny! I love you for it. Ill friend? :( I hope it's not serious and your friend will feel better soon. You are a dear friend to bring nature to the window like this. And you've got a great shot of the bird! Also, I like the composition. T.

People who are not, will never understand the creative mind. Keep on doing what you do, we all benefit! What a wonderful gift for your friend too. When my father became ill one of his favorite things to do was feed & watch the birds. There is pure joy in life's simplest actions. Dottie

Very nice shot, Rebecca! I like the way you got the turn of the head, and the seed in his mouth! You got a little catchlight in the eye, as well. Dave.

beautiful image - we have 6 or 7 squirrels in our yard that we feed including an old blind one .. this is in addition to all the jays, woodpeckers, nut hatches etc - love this one - a sign of sping coming ... I hope...K
