My niece - taken in natural light (you can see the window in her eyes) using fast film to keep shutter speed up.I've taken regular photos of my niece in order to improve an area of photography that I'd not ventured into previously. More will follow. I'd appreciate some critiques as I'm always bias when it's family!
I think the lighting, DOF, B&W, and tight crop all work really nicely here. The graininess gives the photo sort of an old fashioned feel, which is neat, but I would like to see it without the grain, as well.
