About Cloudy, rainy, yucky day here in the Northern Neck. Hard to find a good outdoor shot. Saw this old farmhouse that looks as if it has been abandoned and took a shot. Not bad considering the poor light. Plan to revisit this place when the light is better. A sunset might be pretty cool.

Focal Length 35 mm.
Shutter Speed 1/13 sec.

You certainly have the monopoly on these old barns! I think they are really neat, and I think the red aluminum roofs really make this image stand out as does the driveway! Wonderful work Jim! :)

Very good composition, Jim! Sometimes those rainy days produce the best lighting to bring out the colours.

James,
I like how the "road" draws you right into the picture. I look for shots like this to take as well. In TN, seems like one is torn down for a new subdivision all the time. Just wondering, have you tried this shot in B&W? Might look cool considering the weather.
Paul
