About This seemed an appropriate image as I've just heard news of Roland?

The surgery went as well as could be expected and he is recovering well. There's now a long wait, of up to a week, for the results of the forthcoming tests on the tumours.

Thank you again for your interest and support. Please continue to remember Roland and his lovely family.

Best regards to all,

Chris

P.S. The picture was taken at Milton Abbey using am SB600 flashgun.

Chris, all I say is great composition and exposure about this pic as I don't want to detract from showing how pleased I am at the news of Roland. I know it's early days but it's one hurdle successfully completed.

Hi Chris; this is a difficult and complex subject with all the layers of detail, but you've done an excellent job of composing and organizing it for ther viewer. Nice Work, and my best to your friend and his family.

Thanks much for your generous comments on my Simpson House photo-- I like it too-- atmospheric conditions were just perfect at the time. Cheers. Craig

I love this image..so soft...and the colours are amazing..'marble and gold'.. wow! The lines are almost making the picture abtract... real wonderfull...

I'm happy to hear your friend is doing great, but I also find it so difficult that you ask us to pray for him and his family...in specific... cause..I can mention LOTS of people... especially kids..who are suffering each day..and their lives seem so impossible to change...They don't even eat every day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hm...sorry..but it's really botherings me...perhaps you can make me look at it differently...

When I saw the title, I thought I hopes it means what I think it does, and such good news, hope he continues to do well, although a worrying time waiting for test restuls.
Great shot, you must have worked hard to get this angle, there are so many curves and angles. Lovely colours too
