About Well, thanks for all your kind thoughts regarding my wedding address! It all went really well in the end! I talked about 3 wedding presents that I presented to the couple as I spoke?

A knife and fork ~ to remind them that they are different but complementary and so must work as a team?

A packet of 'Power Duck Tape' as a reminder that God's love will help them 'patch things up' when they get a bit 'frayed around the edges'?

And a ball of 3-ply string to remind them that God's the third strand in their partnership that will give it added strength!!

This is a shot I took as they signed the register. They had no official photographer, so I ended up taking some pictures as well!!

It was an excellent afternoon!!

Best regards,

Chris

Oh you captured such nice feeling! So romantic! Perfectly composed and so sweet that her hand shows how nervous she is!

Hi Chris, i like this picture and i really liked your about. You are a real one man band :)
I bet this couple were lucky to have you there because now i guess they've got some great photos as well as having a memorable wedding. To the photo, i think it's very clever to make such a tight crop and focus on the signing of the vows. It makes it much stronger and reminds us of the vows we took, what i mean is we can all apply this to our own lives, because of the anonymity of the situation if you know what i mean.
Best wishes
Neil

wow, that must have been an excellent sermon...I was raised and still am a Penticastal child of God and I always have appreciated a good preaching. The picture is also stunning. I know what you mean no turning back. I learned the hard way that marriage is not always perfect. But my husband and I have learned to grow with the help of God.

My goodness. Pastor and photographer all at the same wedding! Give the next couple a pair of chopsticks. The message is pretty obvious! I like the image of the three-ply string, though. Duly noted for future reference!

No turning back now is right. From here it is all uphill for a time and then it gets much better. 55 years will attest to this. Great picture and they will be glad you took others for them. Don.

Perfect B&W! Great angle and crop - as great as your sermon and gifts ... innovative ideas and I am sure this was a seremony that many won't forget in a hurry.
Good work Mr S!
