Nice bird portrait, especially the head is caught pretty good. Compositionwise I would have liked the crop concentrating more on the bird, a less central composition and a more discriminating use of the DOF. Right now by having more or less everything sharp or kind of sharp it becomes a very busy picture which distracts from the main object. Just a few suggestions to play around next time!

Very good shot of this beautiful bird. I like the angle of this shot, shows the breast feathers well.
