I see tranquillity here. And if that's a small stream in the low area then it would be the icing on the cake. I love it. This is also an excellent photo showing how the Blue Ridge area got its name.
Are you sure you want to move back to LA?

Nice dreams Rebecca...Beautiful landscape. I would probably cut a little bit more the bottom of the photo. Anyway, the atmosphere is nice.

Lovely, Most of the rural barns in my part of Virginia are not kept up that well, especially the roof of the little shed. I would love to see the grounds around the house, I bet it is beautiful with that nice back drop of mountains.

Rebecca, you had me going for a while there. Thought my memory was going. 4 years ago I was in Dyersville, Iowa and we were taken to the site where Field of Dreams was shot. From this viewpoint the layout of the buildings is very similar but I didn't remeber any trees around. Had to check it out with my boss who confirms my thoughts. The baseball pitch would have been on the flat area in front of the barn. This is a lovely shot and like many others I could live there too. Den

Wonderful photo, I love the about I could just do the same - and if that is a pond in the foreground (for my fishing) I may just have to come to Virgina and make them an offer lol
