I'm with the others on the hub cap removal. It does make this shot. The best thing I like about this shot is how the light is playing on the old weathered wood. Excellent eye your have, but watch those urges. You never know what may be lurking in those yards. Could be a big mean dog. :-)) Jimmy

Neal did an excellent hubcap removal job,but like he says,it does add something to this image like these chairs are neglected and basically are thrown out like the hubcap perhaps..i love these chairs especially the texture..great contrast/shadows and tones...looks like just a tad of green showing on the leaves which i like very much..well seen/captured..cowgirl

Light, shadows, contrast, tones, rough hewn wood textures...all superb! The hubcap adds that strange little touch that set your photos apart.

I also think it's better to leave the hubcap there. I think it adds to the feelings of faded dreams and past pleasures. However, I ran it through Neal Nye's Hubcap Removal Utility and got this. I think it's better the way it was.

Nice shadowplay across the rustic old chairs! Maybe the hubcap is there to keep people from sitting in the chair and falling through! :)

No don't, the hub cap makes the photo. I have never tried converting to black and white, I am going to have to give that a try. You get such great emotion in your pictures doing that. I like the wood. It gives it that weather beaten look. Del.
