Beautiful shot of this scene. Love the flowers in the foreground. You seem to have a way of knowing where to stand when you pull the trigger. How can knowing where to put your feet have anything to do with a good EYE ? Forgive me, the drugs haven't worn off yet ! jimc

Sad to say, it's much the same here, Roger. At least, the more liberal churches are in decline ~ terminally so, in some cases. But many of the more evangelical churches are growing, and for this I thank God! Best regards, Chris

Lovely, Chris. And it must smell as good as it looks... As I see these mostly Anglican churches, with their hundreds of years of tradition, and compare them with our own Anglican communion churches here in Japan, few of them much over 100 years old, I wonder how brightly the flames of faith are burning these days...? In some places here it is guttering, sad to say.

Chris, great capture - hope you had a great day at the ebach - winter here lots of rain and snow. The lavender is super - look a bit surreal on teh screen - almost like its been manipulated in photoshop - great capture - exposer and composition excellent.

The painterly effect you get with your images is very effective Chris. Do you shoot in RAW or Jpeg? This reminds me of the Hayes Island Cafe effect. I hope you packed your bucket and spade for your trip to the seaside. Regards John

Thanks, Linn. By the way, I really enjoyed your uploads yesterday ~ very different to your usual (excellent!!) floral shots. It's amazing what you can find a good image in! You have a good day too. Catch you later! Kind regards, Chris

Morning Chris How do you make your lavender pop like that? :-) As I mentioned on an earlier image ... the lavender and grey tones work so well together. Yet another stunning work of architecture!
Enjoy your day - make the most of it and I do hope you will find time to get some great images.
Linn
