What a sweet photo, Rebecca! From the title, I was expecting to see a couple of old pirate dogs - Aarggh! :) Really nice lighting (if a little blown out around the sitting dog's chest) I have always loved the shadows from venetian blinds.

OMG! The doggie on the left looks like our..er.."his" dog,Rico who is half german shepard and half australian cattledog...love the lighting/shadows/tone and the expressions are priceless! Glad you posted this one...they are just furry "people" ;D ...gayle

Great shadows and light Rebecca. Love their early morning caught in the act expression especially the pup on the left. He is saying "yeah, you caught us, well weren't we supposed to be up here, afterall you did cover the sofa with a towel didn't yuh? His expression is so incredibly "oh oh what she gonna do to us?" and the other one is saying "relax, sit back down, her bark is worse than her bite"
