About And yes, I loved Marshall Tucker, too. This seemed a very appropriate title, though. I was coming back home today on 29 N, traffic was very heavy, and I almost never found a place to pull over and get a few snaps. When I did, I almost never got back out. :) It was worth it to me. Cropped and framed in PS. No alterations to color.

The perfect title for a perfect sunset. The colour is gorgeous itself, but it's the one illuminated storm cloud that really pounds this one home for me. It's the perfect balance of darkness in the sky to add some atmosphere.
Glad you managed to stop!

WOW! The colors are spectacular, this is one of those shots that should also have the caption - "Wish I were here" Excellent job on the frame as well.

Wonderful colors. Just the right amount of vegetation for balance and depth but not to detract from the colors.

Spectacular Rebecca. This sincerely has got to be one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever see. The golds, oranges and silhouettes are gorgeous. I can certainly sympathize with you on trying to get the shot. Always someone on your tail like John said or not enough shoulder to pull over onto. Your effort here was certainly rewarded in stunning colour.

Rebecca, thanks for commenting on my pic. Cherish was very excited to read the comments. ;-)

Coming to your art, I can see why you put this in magic light. There are a lot of sunset pics floating about, but it's not too often the sun is absent in them. You captured this perfectly. The cloudy highlights are wonderful, and I almost get the idea they too are entering a state of repose.

Keep up the excellent work.

Fire on the Mountain lightnin' in the air; Gold in them hills and it's waitin' for me there ... I like your use of song titles ... I'm a big music/guitar buff.

Beautiful shot Rebecca and nice framing as well.

Very nicely done Rebecca, I know how frusterated one can get, there is always a car tailgating you when you want to stop and never a wide enough verge to safely pull over on, Murphys law they call it.
