as do I, each one has a story, and walking through them myself, as most people do, I see a name a date, see their age, and often wonder what is their story, especially the older ones. where is here btw? m.a.mora@nebi.com :)

Actually, I do. There's always one of two things in a graveyard. Mystery, or peace. There's a lot of history to be found there also. We have some beautiful ones here.

Rebecca, a really great b&w. You chose just the right spot to bring out the mood that your title suggest.

P.S. Thanks for the comment on London Bridge. Reference "vacation" though, I have been on permanent vacation since 1997. I retired then and now I just consider these trips. I'll be posting 3 photos every day from this latest trip

Outstanding tones, Rebecca! Especially fitting for the cemetary setting. I like the deep depth of field, giving "life" to the scene. Thank you for your recent kind comment, much appreciated! ...Brad

I actually like this one better than the other graveyard photo Rebecca. Same great textures, but I think the diagonal line at the base of the headstones strengthens the comp. Well done.

Great moody shot, Rebecca! I like how you shot this from behind, where the shadows emphasize the shapes of the tombstones. The gnarled branches of the bare trees add to the ambiance, too!

Thanks Christine. The only thing I did to this photo, was to increase my contrast a little and adjust the backlighting, as I wanted it a little darker. Then I did a drop shadow and framed it. I'd be glad to try yours if you'd like. Email it to me at REBLNVA@AOL.COM

Excellent tones, wonderful shadows and light. A very dramatic and cold atmosphere. Amazing texture especially the bare trees which adds to the mood. You did a great job in presenting this, Rebecca I should send you my cemetery photo as you would probably be able to make it look great. I posted and pulled it twice already because I just can't get it right.
