so sad, makes me think of my Mother, alone now since my Father passed away. After almost a half a century together, it is indeed lonely to be one. Dottie

Jimmy, this was the first time she had seen this place, and she loved it immediately. Like " Mother" like " daughter" lol..

Very nice indeed, Rebecca! Because of the yellow leaves, you got kind of an IR effect with this. The formality of her suit adds a somber note to this lovely composition, too. Now you've got me humming Three Dog Night!

Beautiful b&w work, Rebecca. Are you trying to get your "daughter" into the cemetery thing than many of us have?

Wonderfull tones and mood Rebecca! I agree with Christine regarding the person's head, but looking closely at the image the person looks fine, I guess this is because the tones of the hair blended with the tones of tree.

It does seem at first glance that the person is headless as her head disappears into the leaves of the tree. Intentional? Wonderful tonal range, there still appears to be a slight touch of green to the grass, amazing. Great DoF.

Rebecca, you obviously shot this from very close to the ground, which was a very good idea, it really brings the viewer into the scene. It's unfortunate, but not a big deal, that the woman's head does not stand out very well against the leaves.
