This was taken near an old minesite in Tipperary Ireland called the Silvermines even though lead ore was mined here. The image is soft focussed and a bit overexposed. For me it made the scene appear to be more snowy on the ground when in reality there was only some frost there.
your sharpened version of my shot looks brilliant! Thanks for doing it and commenting. I suppose I should have used some common sense and taken a few shots of the scene under different conditions.

Hi Daithi, I like the scene, but i'm not a fan of the soft focus. I think that it looks like snow anyway because of the high contrast - black and white, so to me that wasn't a problem. Anyway to cut a long story short i tried to sharpen it in PS, this was before i realised you had done this intentionally, sorry. Here is the result if you can see any difference on the small JPEG.
