Gerhard, they really are in that position what I would do was to put my hand up on their cage they would fly across the room and return to their cage where I would be waiting with my camera, exposure and focus preset. I would then snap the picture right before they landed back on their cage.Very simple actually I took dozens of photos that looked much like this, they would always fly off together and return together.
