The angle of their faces almost form a very effective zig zag shape, it has the eyes dancing across the image. Beautiful tones, and I love how you have captured the eyes, they seem to be saying - 'is this alright'. I think maybe I would like to see a little more top and bottom

Tender moment between the girl & dog Dan, nice sharp image too. My only comment is how both are cropped off the frame, if I may suggest adjusting the focal lenght of the lens or backing up a few steps so both are seen more. Other than that a great shot, best wishes & cheers.
