Beautiful Hugo ......Well done. Very clear and colorful. May I offer this suggestion: Stay with the 100 film ... maybe 200 even. You will be delighted. No need for 400 film with boats ..water reflections. You will always pick up harsh grain. In your image "marina reflections" .. the 400 film couldn't handle the white hulls. Please accept my suggestions as helpful .. not critical.

Interesting you look at my picture, in Tierra del Fuego.At 11 Nov I was in Buenos Aires,after some days exploring your beautiful town , full of recordations, of places and names I flew to the south , made a cruise in Tierra del Fuego,going to Cape Horn,Magellan,Beagle,Wulaia,Madalena and others well known names.Then Ushuaia,Punta Arena,Santiago,Vina del Mar,Valparaiso and back home via Madrid.I loved every momment of this trip.I?ll post the best of 1947 pictures ( yes, 1947 digital pictures) in this and other sites.

Very interesting shot with all that complex rigging and antennae. I can see by the battered appearance that it's a working boat. The colours of the boats are good but I particulary like the colours and light in the water which I think make this shot.

I visited your portfolio because you commented on my "Cherry Blossom" picture (which, to answer your question, was taken in Kokubunji, the suburb town of Tokyo where I live). You have a very varied portfolio, with some really beautiful shots. I particularly like this boat, which is unlike anything I've ever seen before! The complicated lines and fittings of the rigging, the battered woodwork, the many baskets... all the textures are beautifully rendered, with that pale, high sky behind as backdrop!! Excellent. I think it would have made a wonderful stereo shot, too...
