Arrembuo: Not too much wind that day. The trees are bent mostly in response to prevailing westerly wind as they are on a very thin piece of land with water on the other side (source of my other photos in this series). The dark colored rocks are due to plant life exposed to a low tide. I thought that dark band of stones provided an interesting leading line for the photo. I angled my lens to maximise exposure of the clouds which were magnificent on this spring morning.

Bill this is great.
did youdo it on a windy day?
I would sugest you change the angle.
The angle you used, makes it dificult to get the differece between the shore and the water. It appears to me as if, some rocks have been place to hinder the water frm getting ashore. Is is so? And also due to this angle, the horizon is not perfect( but it is good tough). You are used a 24mm objective, you don?t need to point it to the ground. keep it straight or just a very small angle to the bottom

Another nice one Bill. I like the curve of the shore line, and the red filter worked beautifully. I also like the way the line of trees meets the sea in the distance.
