Bill,I love this one and I'm adding it to my favrites. Not only I think it is a very original realisation but I find it an amazing pic. The distortion works perfectly here and adds a lot of charm to these lovely daffies
Direct Digital = Cool idea
Excellent work

That technique is so so funny!

At one time me and this young fellow...member..Chris Whaley..and I were going "scanner" happy! What a time we had.

I know how to use the twirl filter..and scanner. LOL.

Check out Chris's portfolio. His "scanning". My "scanning" is posted in the "egg project" category.

Thanks folks for the comments. This was probably the easiest of my submissions. To make the "shot" I picked some daffodils and 2 leaves from the garden, placed them on my flatbed scanner, scanned &imported the image into PS and gave it a bit of a twirl with the twirl filter under the distort heading. Very simple and no camera involved. Digital direct!

Very nice, I would hang this on my wall. How did you do it?

the simplicity of this is very eye catching. i sat and stared at for quite a while yesterday as well. you added just the right amount of twirl. 8)
