Bill,I love this one and I'm adding it to my favrites. Not only I think it is a very original realisation but I find it an amazing pic. The distortion works perfectly here and adds a lot of charm to these lovely daffies Direct Digital = Cool idea Excellent work Hugs - Emgy

That technique is so so funny!
At one time me and this young fellow...member..Chris Whaley..and I were going "scanner" happy! What a time we had.
I know how to use the twirl filter..and scanner. LOL.

Thanks folks for the comments. This was probably the easiest of my submissions. To make the "shot" I picked some daffodils and 2 leaves from the garden, placed them on my flatbed scanner, scanned &imported the image into PS and gave it a bit of a twirl with the twirl filter under the distort heading. Very simple and no camera involved. Digital direct!

the simplicity of this is very eye catching. i sat and stared at for quite a while yesterday as well. you added just the right amount of twirl. 8)
