I agree with Matt -- the lines don't detract at all. They simply lend a more casual feel to the portrait, which is good.

Forget the lines - this is a very nice portrait. The natural pose and the model's obvious comfort with you and your camera makes for a captivating image.
You could always touch-up the lines if they bother you, but true portraiture is about people, and people are no more interesting than when they are being themselves.
Nothing will ruin a portrait faster than an a forced pose.

Hi Julia! The portrait is beautiful. The only nit picking thing is the lines on her face that Joe pointed out. Other than that it is great! :)

standard advice would be to not have your friend actually touching her face to avoid the lines seen next her little finger. on a side note , please tell your friend she is absolutely stunning and has the most warm & inviting eyes i have seen in ages. you would do well to keep her as a model.
