About Yes, this is stoo soft--but it adds to the etherial effect. If every image is displayed for a different mood, effect or style, this is one that seen as a whole in my portfolio adds a little depth.

Very interesting idea...

I think the tilt adds tension in the photo, which I would think you would not want for a wedding photo.. you want to portray happiness and excitement, not "tension".

I also would have liked a little less DOF.

The lighting is real cool, and I think if the background was more out of focus, the softness would work fine.

Any reason you chose to shoot this at f/8? You are pretty much parallel to the "models" and I would have gone for f/4 or even f/2.8. I may have took a second shot at f/5.6 just in case, but f/8 really seems to me to be too small when the background is really unimportant. The gazebo thing would have looked great somewhat out of focus, and still be recongnizeable... just my opinion.

Keep shooting!

It's not vertically straight. Look at the gazebo pole at the right. Also, you have the guy on the right leaning, which doesn't help the straightness illusion, but, then, it isn't straight to start with. Kinda cute otherwise.
