lovely colours, i like the detail in the flowers, the water reflection helps too, but also i'm really into the flare (being the streams of sunlight coming through), yeah i think Koen is onto something with longer warm streaks of light :)
cool shot

Debbie,
Thanks for the comment... the colours are what drew me here and made me take the picture!
As for the enchancing filter... it's a Tiffen Enchancing / Intensifying filter... has a slightly green tint to it and brings out all colours in the orange, red, brown spectrum. I bought it in March, and now I am waiting for fall to see how awesome the foliage will look with it!

Lovely warm colors Kim. What enhancing filters did you use? By chance the kind you use on a camera? Warming filter and maybe a mauve filter?

Thank you for letting me know what you meant! (and sorry I didn't get it the first time... don't know where my head is sometimes!!!)

No, certainly not. I was just thinking that other viewpoints where you would see some light reflecting off the plants at the edges could be nice as well. Just a comment which was off-topic and probably not useful either ;)

Sorry, Koen, I'm not sure what you are asking me to try... to use PS and cover over the flare on the plant, but keep it in the background? Thank you for commenting so quickly!

I think it is a good shot - I think it is better than the previous one. I like the reflections on the water. There is a bit of flare but you can not entirely avoid this. Would it be possible to make visible the sunlight touching the plants ? I mean, those small strikes of warm light accentuating the silhouette ? Not saying that this would improve it to my feeling, just an idea :)
