A++++. Beautiful dogs, beautiful colors, beautiful light, beautiful composition. I'd gladly look at these two for a month. Well done!

I really like their expressions and it's nicely lit and composed. I do wish that tree trunk wasn't there behind the doggie on the left. Perhaps darkening it a bit would be a big improvement. Great shot! I know how hard it is to get two dogs to pose at the same time and you've done a fine job, as have Foa and Neko.

Hello, Kim. This is really good, approaching that professional look. Deep color, good focus on both of them. The stump in the back is growing out of Fia's head, and unfortunate accident, easily cloned out. I have been humbled at how two dogs seem to do all kinds of photogenic things together until a camera comes out. Then they suddenly think you want to play, and you lose the moment. An interesting border.

Hi Kim The bright tree trunk also caught my eye immediately and I am glad Dirck pointed it out; as well as you noticing it immediately.
This is a wonderful image. My first impression was : Healthy dogs, happy dogs, clean dogs! :-))
Such a great image and I do hope you will be successful with your submission. Make sure to let us know what happens and good luck!

Looks much better, Dirck. Now, can you tell me what you did so I can try it next time? *grin*
As soon as I uploaded the photo I pointed that offending tree trunk out to my husband and told him that I should have cloned it out... Thanks again for the comment... appreciated as always.

Gotta love that Fuji film.... so colorful and viberant. Dogs are hard to shoot, good job.

This is a really sweet shot, Kim - Fia (I'm guessing - on the left) looks like she's laughing! And look at the size of that tongue! :) Only one thing about the composition that really catches my eye, and that's the bright tree trunk right behind her head. I think it would look better if you could clone that out or de-emphasize it. It also seems a little over saturated to me - maybe the late sun (and I usually like quite a lot of saturation. Otherwise, your calender girl (and guy) look great!

Wonderful photo Kim, personally I would changed the border to a lighter colour or even lose the border completely. The composition and lighting is outstanding Kim :-)
