Great pic, great mood, great capture. Also.... great camera, lens and film (I am addicted to exactly the same combination!). Cheers.

I adore the simple elegance of this shot, as well as the grain, the difficult lighting conditions and the apparent quickness with which this image was captured. I am also drawn in repeatedly by the man in the far distance, who seems to be noticing what you are doing -- looking directly into the camera. A unique vision.

Another wonderful expression caught, John -- I love this guys face, chin propped, staring off. I also like the diagonal bench/roof running back to the door. You are so darned good at this: bringing all sorts of elements together into a clean composition where each line leads into the next and brings the eye around the frame.

Tough light, but I think you handled it well. My favorite thing about the photograph is the brickwork over the doorway, radiating upward. Seems appropriate that there would be almost too much light just there.
