About This is my grandfather. He bricked up his house by himself. This was the first house I lived in. Mellencamp's, "Minutes to Memories" describes him perfectly. He retired in 1976 and moved to Illinois. He was born in 1910 and died in 1990. If he had been alive when I revisited his old home I would have lied and told him it was OK and all was well. It would have broken his heart to know the truth.

the best work,is that done by your hand,
the most blessed food,is the one that earned by a ones hand,
this is what our faith learns us,
from his bricking his house ,he seems to be persistent,and that kind of insistent man,about the truth that could broke his heart,yes it would do,but sooner or later you would find him forgiving,those are not our generations,they were wiser than that.
