About Some kind of "comparison" between the natural and the artificial again, but this time also a "documentary" of the human made when it matches the natural surroundings. I think the details and lighting are good enough, but what about composition?

Thanks a bunch for the in depth going comment and the suggestion, Visar! Indeed, that's it! I already told Dave that I have the feeling that the bottom is simply too "orphaned", and this is really only a part of the problem. It should contain more of both the ground and the sky! It is then that the power lines would have a better effect as leading lines. As it is now it has too much "flatness". Thanks a lot for that!

I'll have to organize another session up there.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Dave!

Only the bottom seems to me a bit too "orphaned" for the power lines. But some more images of the mountains around will follow in the next days.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot again, Gustavo!

I think now about a pushed series of the same scenes. It must be possible to get a good grainy look of them.

Cheers!

ok, i do agree with you being satisfied with the details, and since you raised the question of composition I think it might have been a better idea if you added a bit of more foreground and sky. that is to give a bit more importance and strength to the details you have included here Nick/ houses and the power polls - and also the freshness of this beautiful landscape.
with this composition, my idea is that you have 'suffocated' a bit its beauty.

that's regarding composition, whereas with respect to details and light condition and what you have depicted to treat here- i think they are simply a subject to admire, and of course envy you for being so close to that place :)

regards,
v.

I like the composition here, Nick, to illustrate your "human presence". The perspective on the power lines is good, leading the eye into the image and the buildings. What magnificent scenery you have there, too.
Dave.

Esto es otra cosa!, me gusta mucho más. Luminosa, y de una cuidada y excelente composición. Los postes, las casa, las pendientes te guían correctamente la vista.
Un abrazo!
