Hi Yamil! Unfortunately when I was in Spain we were in cities the whole time. Barcelona for a day and a half(a great place for architecure), and Albacete, a smaller city with lots of old buildings and streets, but few birds. There are some national and state parks though, you could probably get some info on the web.
Dave.

Dear Dave,
Thanks for your comment.
These guys are difficult to get here too.
They are common at the Elkhorn Slough- 60 miles from my house. To increase my chances to get close to them, I usually rent a kayak.
This is the best shot that I got so far, but I planning to go back in 3 more weeks and hopefully get then with a prey, doing a birthbath, or the take off.
BTW. I know you went to Spain recently. Do you have any recommendations on bird spots?
I'll be there next week and I was planning to go to Llobregat and Ebro Delta.
Take care buddy.
Yamil

Excellent capture of one of my favourite waterfowl, Yamil! Perfect colour and detail. Here these birds are extremly hard to get close too, spending their time out on the lakes.
Dave.
