About This is the Thatchers Pond a place once used to soak the reeds which grew around this area, these were then used to thatch the cottage roofs which is a common method once used. Today because of fire risk and insurance cost this method has all but died.

Taken on a very cold misty morning at daybreak as the sun was rising through the mist.
