About
This is another one from my recent trip to the Peak District in England. I won an editors choice award for this one (EC) on a website and in the next week got a Photo Of The Week (POTW) the prize is a 24' x 36' canvas print of this picture.
I am told these bowl shape erosions are created in rocks when glaciers moved over the land weighing trillions of tons millions of years ago.
Smaller stones would get caught up underneath them in the melting water and ice, spinning round and round rapidly, trapped they would create these bowl shaped erosions.
Again here some gentle coloured light, patience and knowledge of the area.
