Hello Jorge, Yes I am cold here in my country too... The snow is gone for now but it will probably come back again as i live on the coast so it doesn't last so much here as in-land. Thank You for your comments and you are welcome as i did enjoy your pictures very much.
Warm wishes, Michele~

Oh man Michele its never no troubles! I have seen your latest upload and its so close to perfect as far as processing a straight image! Beautiful is more the point! Hey with results like that It can only be a pleasure to help you out! It looks like unless you capture a blurry image your going to be fine with no more than one click. I really do wish you would get a better processing program .....What is the chances of that! lol I know we all are lapping a lot on you!!! Poor thing! Not sure about the sharpening tool as far as the one for usefilm. You just have to get a feel for your work first and go from there. I I feel my image was not so sharp out of camera and I know I have not oversharpened it processing Ill give it the slightest usefilm boost with the sharpener. ect......Know what I mean jelly bean! Your gonna be just fine.................:) Oh yeah, just fine......:)
Much love
Paul

Thanks for all your trouble Paul... Now this is why I am so confused. I've only given my images -1- click with the sharpen tool on picassa... and some images I took today I am not even going to use any sharpen tools. I was always just going by sight as far as over-sharpening. I have never zoomed up to 200 times and checked for little burr circles but I will. Also I was not un-checking the sharpen tool when up-loading images but Doyle seems to think I wouldn't be effected so I am not sure about that. I will zoom up , and I will not use sharpen more than once if I do at all and see what happens over the week-end ... lol !!! This is all very helpful Paul ... I do appreciate your time and trouble so much . I think part could be a setting in my camera , like Jan suggested... so I've jumbled them all up and taken all kinds of pictures, action, macro, landscape, etc... this should help too right? I'll up-load a sea-gull image with no sharpen at all right now and see what you think ok ??

hummm Took about 10 minutes and me about to give up before I found the tool to sharpen lol Oh dear you have no control over it! How many clicks do you give an average photo.....Im guessing a least 3 or 4? I dont know how your photos are coming out of camera as well which is no help........the 350 xt shoots soft by default and I bet yours is more sharp. You do know what your looking for as far as your images being over sharp don't you Michele? If so Its easy to track and catch if you zoom up to and just over 200 times. You will see the nasty little burr circle like type efect around the edges of the images like around the body and head and then if you really go to far it will move into the inner parts to. Are you with me? lol Its just a process. I would look into finding a program that will save your camera setting however unless you have one. Ill be around for awhile if your too bord! lol I doubt that with all the new stuff to learn! Good luck!!!
Much love

Im going to skip ahead a few photos here and tell you something no one else has yet or at least the last time I looked it was never mentioned....Well really two things. First and maybe most important. While your new camera is shooting excellent and your doing a great job for the first time photos. Each and everyone one with your new camera is way over sharpened!! Beautiful shots each and everyone. technically excellent but oversharp. This was about the hardest thing for me to learn to spot and learn not to do.....Your going to have to zoom in at least 200 times and bigger a lot of times to see the background really good There are lots of little spots and ect....Which if your going to be printing you want to make very sure you go over it with a fine tooth comb! lol Also now that you are shooting slr/dslr your going to have to keep track of your camera info. You should try the free download program that lets you rezize your photos and make small adjustments to it. It will also record your camera info such as shutter speeds and lens setting Iso ect. Plus there are free plug ins that lets you do a lot more editing. A great little program called Irfanview. To check it out go to
http://irfanview.com/
Good luck and best wishes........Have a ball!

So nice to see the snow, Michele! We only had snow in the beginning at NOvember and then nothing - so strange really. I like how snow and ice always makes a landscape appear bluish no matter if the sky is blue or not. Take care Annemette
