But Marco even if the wing is in the way what about those soft , and cool clouds that you never see anywhere else ? I guess I just feel differently about it as I was amazed I got even this clear of a shot--- I didn't mind the wing so much cause it adds to the ariel view -- but then-- we are all different and You were kind enough to give me the 'holiday feeling' to this image ..I thank you for that :))

All the Best,
Michele~

hi michele, with these kind of shots you always have a few difficulties. First times i flew i was so enthusiastic that i shot some pics too. Only to be disappointed. One problem is that wherever you shoot your picture, you always have the wing in sight. Other problem: the lighting. The sun is closer and very bright skies appear. Other problem: sharpness of the picture, because it is shot through the small (and most times dirty) window. So although it seems that Maui is a beautiful place, the picture is not. But as i wrote: it is difficult to shoot this way. I look at it purely technical and esthetic, but nonetheless, the picture has a great holiday feeling. All the best, Marco

Excellent Michele, very good image taken through the window. You didn't open the window did you? :) :) :)
Very nice composition with the wing, you had an ideal seat for shooting. Great clouds, very nice greens and blues, Very attractive shot.
It sure looks like paradise.
All the best,
Joe
PS did I mention my new public profile?

Thank YOU again Maryanne-- It was sooo hard to leave. I used to live there in the late 70's sooooo I had an escape plan, and my friend was afraid I would use it too !!!!

Beautiful. I never have any success with photos taken from the airplane -- mine always come out murky. But this one is beautiful. Must have been hard to leave.
