Wasn't sure what when looking at the thumbnail Ani... Now I see and I like... For me she looks a little like *a roughed in pastel*, face, hair almost finished and now to build... :)

Thanks Colin. I really found this work to be relaxing and enjoyable. I like the original image (I have attached it for you to see), but I wanted to "play" with it for FUN and to create a painterly "story".

Hi Ian!
I am not sure what you mean about "filling the eyes"... The model is looking down and you can only see her lashes, which I did darken and alter the colour of quite a bit (they were pretty green and magenta there for awhile... lol!)
I am glad you see the autumn and spring. :)
I am not sure from your comments that you actually like the image, but I am so pleased to hear from you and thank you for your interest and actually taking the time to comment!

Did you think twice about filling the eyes? I think it's fine but can see how that area could have been disastrous. Keeping the loose form of the clothes and hat help.
I'm not sure I get mohair in this but can see your autumn and spring.

I am really enjoying PS more and more with gratitude to you for the inspiration to experiment with more layers, filters etc. I know you don't use PS, but most programmes have similar functions. I have become a real adventurer! LOL!
